Landmarks (Finale)

Well, now that 2013 is over I took a look at the photos for last year’s Landmarks Competition thingy. As promised, I’ve chosen a couple of photos which I quite liked and will be sending both of the photographers concerned a (very small) something for their troubles.

Black & White

This one is from fjstuart, and I like the composition, the way your eye follows the line of the wall into the distant hills.

Green

Next, is this one from Richard Holt at BridgeClubFour. I like the the unusual perspective, and for managing to get a bit of the front end of a bike into the shot as well.

I already have fjstuart’s address, so if Richard would like to drop me a private message I’ll send him something as well.

 

New Year

I would like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year for 2014.

Thanks to everyone who has taken time to visit the site, and a special thanks to all who have shared their bikes, projects and ideas.

New Year resolutions are, to clear out the shed so that I can actually do some work on my bikes without having to drag everything out first, and to put the Dnepr MT11 on the road for the summer.

Other than that, a lot more riding that I managed last year, including at least one overseas trip. As to where, I haven’t quite made my mind up yet, but I’m looking at a couple of options.
