What Next?

As it doesn’t look like I’m going to get myself a cruiser-type machine any time soon I’ve returned to looking at adventure-tourer bikes.

I like the look of the KTM Adventure, the Ducati Multistrada and Guzzi's Stelvio, and then there’s this very smart Aprilia Caponord 1200 with matching luggage that I spotted when I was at the local Triumph dealers having a look at their new Tigers.

Dark Knight

I really like the look of the Harley 1200 Sportster ‘Dark Classic’. It’s probably the lack of chrome. There’s even one for sale near me, and I was tempted, for all of about five minutes.

That’s the longest I’ve ever thought about buying a Harley. It must be some sort of impending mid-life crisis.

Window Dressing

This is a display in a department store window I passed today in Edinburgh city centre. You can just about see that the fuel  tank has a BSA badge on it.

It’s for a range of very expensive Barbour clothing, which has nothing to do with motorcycling, but still likes to play on its image to help sell the products.
