Change For The Better

This is the Triumph parked up opposite the former PSNI (Police Service Northern Ireland) Station in Belcoo, County Fermanagh, in Northern Ireland.

Belcoo is on the border with the Irish Republic, in 'Bandit Country'. This was a typical heavily fortified Border Police Station built during the 1970s, with blast walls and high security fencing against mortars etc.

I was on the way to a rally in Garrison, which is just up the road, and stopped because I noticed that the station was closed.

I think that it’s a good sign that they feel that they can do without something like this, and I hope that the need for it never arises again.
